A race against time for Jack Harris

A little reminder that the latest DCI Jack Harris mystery is out and riding high in the Amazon Kindle bestseller charts (it’s also available in paperback).

The Killing Line is published by The Book Folks and is my nineteenth published crime novel. In the book, a schoolgirl is found dead after taking drugs, the second death in a few weeks.

Jack Harris suspects that there is more to the tragedy and the small Pennine town of Levton Bridge is up in arms. The locals are campaigning for a young offender centre to be closed down. The death of the girls fuels their anger.

Following the second death, a murder investigation gets under way. School friends of the victim are interviewed but keep quiet. Soon the inquiry centres on a teenage tearaway known to the police for robbery and drug dealing but he is fleet of foot and not so easy to pin down.

With the townsfolk putting increasing pressure on the authorities, Jack Harris must get results before any more young people fall victim.

This is the seventh book in the series of DCI Harris murder mysteries. You can find out more and buy the book at
