A quick reminder that the most recent DCI Jack Harris murder-mystery novel was The Girl In The Meadow, published by The Book Folks.

The novel sees Harris and his team embroiled in a challenging investigation after a skeleton is found during the refurbishment of a remote house on a windswept hill, having been there for three decades.

Complicating matters for Harris is the fact that, during his errant youth in the valley in the North Pennines, the house was one of the places where he got up to mischief with his pals.
Mix in the involvement of a suspected conman who claims that the house is his and connections to organised crime and Harris and his team find themselves tested to their limits.

The Girl in the Meadow is the tenth standalone murder mystery in the DCI Jack Harris series and the twenty second to be published having been written by John Dean. The book can be purchased in ebook, paperback and hardback, on Amazon.
