Bloody Scotland crime writing festival to take place

The 2018 Bloody Scotland International Crime Writing Festival takes place in Stirling in September, featuring some big names.

This year’s gala opening will take place on Friday 21 September when the organisers will present the McIlvanney Prize for Scottish Crime Book of the Year. 

Denise Mina and Val McDermid will then lead a torchlight procession to their event followed by a performance from the Fun Lovin’ Crime Writers.

Also appearing at the festival will be the likes of  Ann Cleeves, Mark Billingham,  Peter James and  Stuart MacBride, among many more.
