Inkers, a long-established collection of writers of which I am a founding member and who gather fortnightly in person at the Friends’ Meeting House in Darlington, as well as online, have published their latest anthology.

A Thread of Raindrops and Other Stories contains short stories in various genres, many of them featuring a satisfying twist.

From crime to romance, and science fiction to a hilarious romp set in the Wild West, the authors explore their topics through highly individualistic choices in terms of tone and style.
A Thread of Raindrops includes a story whose subject matter is domestic abuse, an account of a disquieting railway journey, another which entertains us with a memorable romantic encounter in Memphis, and the final work is an enthralling narrative of a fishing expedition, expressed in the form of a charming folk tale. These are just some of the stories anthologised in this book.

You can buy the book in ebook and paperback format at https://www.amazon.co.uk/THREAD-RAINDROPS-OTHER-STORIES-ebook/dp/B0...
