I am really looking forward to joining fellow crime writers Jackie Baldwin and Ian Patrick as part of the Tall Tales Mysteries virtual murder mystery weekend on January 22-24.

You will have the chance to meet us on Zoom from 4pm until 5.30pm on Saturday January 23 when you can hear us talking about our work and answering questions. I’ll be talking about my DCI John Blizzard and DCI Jack Harris series of novels published by The Book Folks.

Jackie Baldwin’s first novel Dead Man’s Prayer was published in 2016 followed by two more, Perfect Dead and Avenge The Dead, which was published last year, and she will be talking about them.

Former police officer turned crime writer Ian Patrick has published four novels and his first, Rubicon, is in development with the BBC as a series. He will shine a light on how he brings his ideas to life.

This is your chance to find out how we weave our stories, where we find inspiration and how we tackle the writing process.

The event is part of a virtual murder mystery weekend but is being opened up to all crime book readers. Tickets are just £5 but places are limited to ensure that everyone has chance to have their questions answered. You can find out more at
